Crisis Of Faith

Shout out to Pastor Keith Battle on his message entitled a crisis of faith. This is what I took from his message. And I put a major spin on it. John chapter 14: verses 1-6 reads...Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. In verse 6 Thomas had a crisis of faith because he said to Jesus we don't know where you going and how can we know the way. And check this out Jesus answered him and said Thomas I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh to the father but by me. Some of might have a crisis of faith sometimes in our life. You might get tired of church and you don't want to go no more cause you saying to yourself, what for? This doesn't make sense. You've been to church and heard all these sermons about Jesus and you believe because you feel like you have to but you don't really understand it. And that makes you question God. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. The word of God is not for your own understanding. This is not saying you can't or shouldn't understand scriptures, it's saying that the word of God is not meant for your reasoning. In other words don't try to make sense of the word of God. All of the word of God doesn't make sense. I mean Jesus was born from a virgin.. What it's saying is trust in the Lord with all your heart. This may be one of the reasons you may have a crisis of faith. Because you get tired when God doesn't answer all of your prayers when you want him to. When you pray and ask God for something you may think you need it now and if you don't get it now you get upset and have a crisis of faith. God hears your prayers and he will answer all of them when he feels you really, really need it, he's always on time. Jeremiah 1:12 says I am ready to perform my word. John 16:24 says ask and you will receive. Matthew 21:22 says whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. John 14:14 reads if you ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 16:23 reads whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. The proof is in the pudding. Subscribe to this channel, like it, share it, and God bless.

Hard Work

Shout out to Pastor Keith Battle at Zion church in Glenarden, Maryland. I get the word of God from him and I summarize it for you to get a quick message from God. You can catch his online services every Sunday, just go to http://zionchurchonline.com/ One of the messages he had was entitled "I got work to do" I'm calling it hard work. God has given everyone skills. You need to identify your skills because they are your unique anointing. It's something you do with ease that's hard for other people to do. Exodus 35:31 in the NIV reads...And he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills. Once you have identified your skills you need to work hard when your in a profession that you are skilled in. You are not going to be successful without hard work. Proverbs 10:4 in the NLV reads...He who works with with a lazy hand is porr, but the hand of the hard worker brings riches. You will wind up with nothing if you don't work hard but if you work hard you will have more than you need. This is not me talking this is the word of God. Take a look at Proverbs 13:4 in the NLV...The soul of the lazy person has strong desires but gets nothing, but the soul of the one who does his best gets more than he needs. Work hard but don't over work your self, you need your rest so you can continue to work hard. Exodus 23:12 in the NLV reads...You will work six days and rest on the seventh day. So your bull and your donkey may rest. And the son of your female servant, and the stranger may get their strength again. Now I know some of us must work on the weekend, so look at the scripture you don't have to rest on a certain day, just rest on the seventh day, pick a day any day, and rest. Proverbs 23:4 in the NLV reads... Do not work hard to be rich. Stop trying to get things for yourself. Even when you work for someone who pays you you actually should be doing your work for the Lord. Colossians 3:23 reads in the NLV...Whatever work you do, do it with all your heart. Do it for the Lord and not for men. Don't work hard for money or for men work hard for the Lord. Don't chase money and let money be the focus in your life. Psalms 62:10 in the NLV reads...Don't get money in a wrong way or be proud of stolen things. If you get more riches, do not set your heart on them. Don't get caught up in schemes and get rich quick plans. Schemes don't last. Proverbs 13:11 in the NLV reads...Riches taken by false ways become less and less, but riches grow for the one who gathers by hard work. Subscribe to this channel, like it, share it, God bless. Now to Pastor Keith Battle. I heard you say during your "I got work to do" message that someone on Youtube was using your sermons. I have a feeling that you were talking about me. It's just that your sermons are so awesome & life changing I wanted to share them as a quick message that people can listen to, if there not into the whole 40 minute thing. I pray that you will give me your blessing to continue doing what I'm doing. God bless you Pastor.

Sex

God does not allow sex in your marriage he encourages it. Sex is human nature, your sex drive is how God created you but sex is for your husband or your wife. Someone is going to have a bigger sex drive than the other, in a marriage you have to talk about it and come to an understanding. Communication with no filter in a marriage is key to the success of your marriage. Your sexual drive can actually be one of the determining factors for you to be in pursuit of marriage. It's actually your job to fulfill your spouses sexual needs. Lets take a look at 1st Corinthians chapter 7 verses 1-4. Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

Put Away Childish Ways

1st Corinthians chapter 13 verse 11 reads... When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. When you grow up and become an adult your childish ways don't just go away, your childish ways are still there, the thing you have to do now is put it away, and that takes some work and walking in God and by faith. Things you used to do and think about as a child you may still do and think about as an adult. Immature thoughts. Letting temptation take over. Temptation can only take over if your temptable, and being temptable is childish. Put it away. Romans chapter 8 verse 5 in the NIV reads... Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. Don't live according to the flesh, live according to the spirit, change your mind and put away childish ways, and remember Luke 17;21 tells us; the Kingdom of God is in us.

Proof Of Christ Being The Messiah

When someone dies their remains are left and ultimately found unless they are buried. I mean we even found the remains of dinosaurs. But we have never found the remains of Jesus Christ. John chapter 14 verse 6 reads; Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. That's a bold statement to make. How could he prove it? Well it was prophesied, and when you talk about prophecies that are supposed to be true you need more than one person or at least a few people saying the same thing. There are a least 250 prophecies about Christ being the Messiah or the son of God in the bible. Just google prophecies of Jesus Christ and you'll see. All of these prophecies? It must be true. So quit with the doubt and start to believe and don't forget to google "prophecies of Jesus Christ" Happy Easter and God bless; and don't forget to share, like, and subscribe to this channel.

God's Will For Your Life Part 2

How to know God's will for your life part 2. In part 1 I talked about renewing your mind. Now I will talk briefly on how walking with God will help you to understand his perfect will for you. You may come to God with questions, questions like what do I do now or what do I do next. When you ask these questions you may get frustrated because sometimes you won't receive an answer right away. Sometimes God won't answer you right away because he is a walk and see God. Believe in him and trust that his word is true because there is something precious about the seeking. If he answers you right away you may stop seeking. But God want's us to continue seeking, waiting patiently with faith that he will answer and supply all of our needs. Because during your seeking you will start to grow, learn, and establish a better relationship with God.

God's Will For Your Life Part 1

How do you know God's will for your life? God's will for your life is perfect and one of the ways to find out what it is, is by renewing your mind. A few synonyms for the word renew is restart, begin again, or re-establish. The way we do this is by changing the way we think. One of the ways we can change the way we think is by putting the word of God on our mind first thing in the morning. Read a quick scripture, or look at a quick video on youtube about the word of God and say a quick prayer. Now we have him on our mind first thing before all other things and that enables us to handle situations for the day with a renewed mind. Romans chapter 12 verse 2 reads...And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Free From Condemnation

We must not judge and condem each other. We are free from condemnation according to the word of God. John chapter 8 verses 3-10 tells us the story of a woman who committed adultery. Moses' law said the punishment for this sin was death by stones. So the men dragged the woman to Jesus and asked him what sayest thou? Jesus answered; he that is without sin among you let him first cast a stone at her. After hearing those words all the men dropped their stones and left because they knew they were sinners themselves so how could they condem the woman. Jesus told the woman I do not condem you now go and sin no more Jesus not only forgives us for our sins but he relieves us of our sins by not condeming us or making us feel guilty or unworthy. Knowing and believing that you are loved in this type of way will change your life forever.

Temptation

One of the devil's greatest tricks is temptation. We battle with temptation every day of our lives. You might be tempted to get drunk, or high, you may be tempted to cheat on your wife or husband, you may be tempted to masturbate or even have unprotected ses. Adam and Eve were tempted by the devil to eat an apple from a tree, a apple in which God told them not to eat. The devil tricked Adam and Eve into believing that God was keeping something good from them, he made them believe God's motives were stingy. In reality God told them not to eat from the tree because he was protecting them. God's word tells us what to do and how to live in order to protect us but the devil will come and tell us lies about God's word and use temptation as a weapon against us. Subscribe to this channe, like it, share it, on social media and leave your comments, and check back with me because I post these videos like everyday or every other day or so. God bless!

Jobs That Cause Stress

Most high paying jobs cause a lot of stress and fear in your life. The fear of being fired if you don't meet deadlines. Picture this, you have worked very hard on a project and you have done your absolute best, but your work is seen by your bosses as sub-par, you may be fired. You see sometimes with certain companies everyone's work is seen as sub-par, because the bosses want things to be perfect, but we as human beings are not perfect, so how can our work be perfect? Perfect? In who's eyes? The bosses? Let the boss do the work, or let his best employee do the work, then you take a look at it and I'm sure you will find imperfections. The only one who is perfect is Jesus Christ. Look, I say all this to say, when your in transition of jobs or your seeking new employment or a career think to yourself and do your research on what the bosses look for. You see I really think that there are two types of jobs or careers. Number 1. jobs, and careers, and bosses that seek perfection in which you can never achieve, they are always hiring and firing. These jobs and or careers pay the most but they come with a lot of stress and fear. Number 2. there are jobs and or careers that look for dedicated, motivated, punctual, hard working, trustworthy people who aren't perfect. These jobs pay less, ask yourself what will you give up for a next to nothing stress level job that pays less? As a believer in Christ, me personally, I would take the lower paying job with little to no stress because it's more stable. I would work that job to the best of my ability and continue to believe in God because he is the supplier of all my needs, not a job or a career. As I turn to my bible cause I gotta give you some scripture to go along with it. Phillippeans 4:19 reads; But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Bad Thoughts Are Not Yours

There is a spiritual warfare going on in our minds. As a believer in Christ it is very important to know this because the devil will put thoughts in your head that will confuse you and make you think you are a bad person and not worthy of God's love. He puts thoughts in your head like "I am a drug addict", or "I am addicted to pornography", or "I have an eating disorder", or "I am a pervert". You must understand that these are not your thoughts, these are the devil's lie's planted in your head to destroy you, that's his job, and he's the best in the business. If you believe the devil's lies he will have a stronghold on your life. The only weapon you have to fight with in this spiritual warfare is God's word, which is almighty and far more powerful than the enemy's lies. II Corinthians chapter 10 verses 4&5 reads...For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. The proof is in the pudding!

Money & Materialistic Things

You see a lot and I mean a lot of rich and famous people going through the ringer every time you look up. They struggle with drug and sex addictions and are back and forth in jail for their addictions. They are trying to fill a void in their lives. They may have trouble sleeping at night because of their stressful lifestyle. They may not have peace of mind, or they may constantly condemn themselves for the things they have done. They may fear failure more than ever each day because there is so much pressure to stay on top. Whatever that void may be it cannot be filled with drugs, alcohol, money and material things. Jesus is the only one who can fill that void, and through him you will find rest and peace in your life. Yes you should always try and better yourselves, go after that good job, career, or promotion. Go after your dreams and try to make more money if you want or need to, but don't let chasing money and materialistic things consume your life, and your thoughts, keep your main focus on the Lord. Mark 8:36 says for what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul.

Your Debt Has Been Paid

Jesus paid the ultimate debt for us. In the old testament the penalty for sin was death. In the new testament he gave his life for the forgiveness of our sins. When you get a bill in the mail that you are unable to pay you try to avoid it at all costs, you don't want to even look at the outstanding debt, yet alone contact the debt collector. The same thing occurs when you start to look at all of the sins you have committed, you think to yourself, wow, that's a lot of sins, it's too much, I can't come to God with this. These thoughts are why God sent his only son to die on the cross for your sins. You don't have to worry about coming to God with a sea of sins because Jesus has already paid off all of your past, present, and future debt. Your sins have been placed into the sea of forgetfullness. Amen.

Jesus Calls Us Fools

I was reading Luke 24 verse 25 and it says, (this is Jesus talking) then he said unto them, of fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken. Jesus said that since we are slow t believe we are fools. I mean, he is Jesus Christ, and he is right we are fools not to believe what the prophets had prophesied about his resurrection. You may be going through frustrations in life, disappointments, stress, anxiety, and even depression, but rejoice with faith, love, hope, and understanding that by believing in him and occupying your thoughts with him instead of the disappointments, and the depression, everything will be o.k. because you are a child of God and like Jesus said, your a fool if you are slow to believe.

Live Of Life Of Abundance

In John chapter 10 verse 10 Jesus tells us that the thief has come to steal, kill, and destroy. And that he has come so you may have life and have it more abundantly. If you look up the word abundantly in the dictionary it means in large quantities and plentiful. You guys see where I'm going with this? Believe in him, accept him, receive his love for you and things will start to change in your life, that new job or promotion will come to pass, your health will improve, your marriage can be saved, your children will be blessed, you will start to experience joy and peace in your life, your struggles with addictions, fear, and guilt will fade. Believe in God and he will bless you more times over, and give you an abundant life.

The Perfect Relationship

Don't think for one second that you have committed too many sins and won't make it to heaven. Revelations 12:10-11 tells us "or the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony". Let your sins be your testimony and by the blood of the Lamb (our Jesus Christ) you are forgiven many times over. So now your thinking oh, I can just sin over and over again and the lord Jesus Christ will forgive me every time. That's an odd question and or statement because a true believer in God does not want to sin, they just fall weak to the flesh. It will happen, but the closer you get to God (by praying everyday and asking for forgiveness, and just talking to him) you won't want to sin anymore, even though it still may happen, God knows your heart.

The Devil Is A Liar

You may thin that you are a bad person because you have bad thoughts. My friend I am here to tell you that you actually don't have bad thoughts, that's just the devil whispering in your ear. You see the devil has come to destroy you and your beliefs, he has come to make you feel like you are a bad person, and the only way to fight him is having Jesus Christ on your everyday schedule. A morning prayer, a quick talk with him during your lunch break, speaking to him underneath your breath during the day ( things like, I love you lord, or Jesus loves me ). This is you working on your relationship with God.

Jesus Died For Our Sins

Are you tired of sinning? Do you get down on yourself about the sins you commit and wish you could change. A lot of us think we don't deserve God's love because we have sinned too much. But Jesus didn't die on the cross for the self righteous or for people who think they are perfect. Jesus died on the cross for sinners. In the old testament the penalty for sin was death. You were stoned to death for your sins. Essentially that is still the penalty, the difference is that God sent his only son to die for all of our sins. That's what God has done for you and in return, in order to get to heaven all you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior.
